Finance Manager  is position for our subsidiary in Surabaya , Indonesia . Reporting to the Group Vice President /CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the Financial and Management Accounting for this subsidiary, including preparation of the balance sheet, profit and loss statements and fulfilling the tax obligations. It will entail reviewing and analyzing of financial reports and monitoring budgetary performance.

Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

* Finance and accounting:
- Supervision of all accounting activities, with a particular focus on improving and enforcing internal controls and ensuring that full sets of accounts are properly maintained.
- Provide timely financial reports, cashflow management, tax computation, forecasting/budgeting and statutory reports
- Preparation of profit and loss forecast and sensitivity analysis of these forecasts
- Work closely with subsidiaries and associate companies , auditors, tax consultants on various accounting and tax issues
- Cost accounting and control
- Keeping a careful track of cashflow, submitting cash needs forecasts to HQ each month.
- Overseeing annual ,project audits and periodic stock audits, following through on all audit requirements and recommendations.

* Budgeting and Reporting:
- Co-ordinating timely and accurate budget preparation.
- Analysing monthly Budget vs Actual reports

* Staff Management:
- Leading the change process to switch over to a new accounts system
- Ensuring correct coding of expenses through providing clear guidance to staff
- Managing recruitment, training and appraisals for finance staff.

Requirements:
* Bachelor of Accountancy / ACCA
* Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or investment related industry
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Highly independent and pro-active
* Possess drive and excellent communication skills
* Managerial experience
* The suitable candidates for both positions should have the following attributes:
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written) in English and oral in Bahasa Malaysia or Bahasa Indonesia
- High sense of responsibility and good organisational, coordination and time management skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work irregular hours and travel to the field as needed
- Team player and able to work in a diverse cultural working environment
- Willing to relocate to Surabaya Indonesia and eligible to work in Indonesia
