Currently, Kelly Services presents our client, a German multinational engineering and electronics company headquartered in Gerlingen, near Stuttgart. It is the world’s largest supplier of automotive components (including brakes, controls, electrical drives electronics, fuel systes, generators, starter motors and steering systems). They are seeking for qualified candidates to be placed in several locations (Jakarta, Surabaya, Pontianak, Balikpapan, Makassar), as :

Sales Representative (Surabaya)

– Responsible of handling major wholesaler accounts of the company group, in planning, tracking, and follow-up of sales quotations, orders, customer forecasting and planning of each individual account.
– To ensure achievement of customer service level to customers, including customer compliant management and also the coordination with internal sales admin to support on-time delivery to customers.
– Ensure that updated price lists and product information is sent to customer for follow-up.
– Customer care & trouble shooting, handling of customer compliants, feedback in a timely & dicipline manner.
– Working together with the Senior sales manage to assess the weighted distribution of products within the distribution channel.
– Work closely with the product marketing team in developing the right product mix for the market and distribution to ensure consistent sales of market-relevant products.

– Diploma or Degree in Mechanical engineering, Sales/Marketing, or Business Administration.
– Min. 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience (especially in Sales Environment).
– Extensive knowledge & understanding of sales & the local distribution network.
– Experience in automotive aftermarket (spare parts) trade or relevant industrial background with knowledge of distribution channel behavior and requirements.
– Experience & knowledge in customer account development & management – backorder, payment handling.
– Handle & assist customers with order forecasting to ensure stock availability & on-time delivery to meet market demand.
– Excellent interpersonal skills – persuasive, able to handle conflict and pressure & good negotiation skills, problem solving skills, sense for detail, strong communication skills, comfortable working with all individuals at all organization level (cross-functional), able to drive business process improvement and able to work independently.
